A very early demo of a song from the new album!

Hello there!

     We are currently working on a lot here at TDC, gathering and recording content for several podcasts! I really can't wait to start launching our shows on the TDC network. TapeDeckTV is going to take considerably longer than I had intended, but the quality of the show is important to me, so it can't be rushed!

     Songs for the new album are also in production. The latest one I was able to work on is called "Alternate Reality" and below is a very rough demo version of it! Let me know what you think by sending an e-mail to contact@tapedeckcatastrophe.com

Update: Moving forward!

Hey there!

     We hope everything is going well with all of you! We had a great rehearsal / writing session over the weekend in Chicago and plenty of footage was captured! There will be some clips and videos coming out very soon!

     We worked on writing part for two brand new songs as well as covered "Attack" by Thirty Seconds to Mars and "Save Me" by Shinedown. The latter of which you can find up on our YouTube channel for a limited time!

     Besides just creating music we have also been getting into podcasting! Material was recorded for the first episode of a Tape Deck Podcast that will be themed about psychology in cartoons! The first episode is going to be about 'Rocko's Modern Life' so if you're interested in psychology, animation, nostalgic nickelodeon cartoons, or any combination of those then check it out when it finally comes out, hopefully soon!

Idea's for a music video for "Second Time Around"

Boys and girls,
     Now I know this song might be a little old, as we wrote it in 2009. However, I assure you with a fresh coat of paint and an actual studio version like it deserves... Our song "Second Time Around" could be feeling better than ever. I've been having these recurring ideas for a music video for it and I would love to bring it to fruition. I would need plenty of help but the ideas would be pretty awesome if executed properly!
   We would also like to get in touch with some charities and see if we can set up something for abused women / children, as it is a problem that we hold very near and dear to our hearts. Changes to the site are coming soon!

Changes to the look and arrangement of the site will be made to allow the site to be more streamlined and focused on getting people directly where they are trying to go with ease! On our opening page we would like to feature the newest song currently released. Which at the moment is "Anything (at ALT)", and along side the video a brief description of it's recording and future plans for the song!

Moving on, a permanent feature on our YouTube channel is going to be TapeDeckTV! This will document the making of our album as well as a small look into our sessions of recording for the next album as well as a little peek into our personal lives! After these permanent set pieces there will be a section for blog updates for when we have an update but not enough Time to edit a video! Next we would very much like to send people over to our Band Camp where there is some music to purchase and we are looking to get merch up as soon as we can! Every album / song purchase you guys make helps us get closer to our goals! Thank you so much!

Exciting things are ARISING in the Tape Deck universe!

   An excellent meeting / writing session for the new album went down in Chicago on the 3rd and we captured quite a bit of footage! While most of it is going to remain locked away for only us to view I did edit together a short video of some of the sights we seen on the road as well as some of the actual writing session! We are incredibly thankful to all of you who have been supportive towards this project, we cannot wait to show you our new album!

   So here it is ladies and gentlemen. It's really not much but it's only our first episode and the only planning went into was literally just us thinking there should probably be footage of this meeting! So as Tape Deck TV continues I look forward to making it grow and progress! Comments, concerns, suggestions, and constructive criticism is highly appreciated... The weird stuff you guys can keep to yourself.
